Please be patient as I build this site. Sadly I have other things vying for my time including a job, family, a bit of sport and actually doing the things I try to write about.

There is content in some of the Projects and the About page. Contact also works if you want to, well, contact me. Always nice to hear from folks out in the real world. Recent updates are based around my acquisition of a Warco WM280 lathe of 2008 vintage.

03/10/2020: The Boxford VMC is coming along nicely and has even now completed two jobs for real. One was under MDI control but the other was a ‘proper’ CNC programmed job. Of course this brings with it some new tales of woe and I should have known better but that’s the learning curve. There has also been some significant scope creep as my desire for what I consider manual control has reared its ugly head. Details of these ventures into the unknown can be found in the VMC300 and the PCB section.

5/4/21: More progress has been made! I have made significant progress on the lathe but don’t get too excited, there is still a long way to go. You will find the most recent additions here

4/9/23: Some more tools have found their way into the garage and the Warco manual lathe is one of them
